Breast Lift

Patient 1. This is a 42-year-old woman who was interested in breast rejuvenation. She had lost volume and upper pole fullness following multiple pregnancies and was interested in improving the shape of the breasts as well as enhancing the size. A French, or vertical mastopexy technique, was utilized along with a 225 cc silicone implant placed in the subglandular position. This has allowed her to achieve a nice C cup. The photos were taken eight months postoperatively. The patient remains very pleased with the size and shape and I expect the vertical incisions at the 6 o'clock position to heal almost imperceptibly in another year or two. Patient 2. This is a healthy 32-year-old woman who had requested a breast lift alone. In addition, her left breast was almost one cup size larger than her right. Bilateral Wise pattern breast lifts accompanied by a small left reduction were carried out. This pattern was chosen because of the severe ptosis or drooping of the breasts. Postoperatively, her nipples are positioned well above the inframammary folds. However, it remains apparent that the upper pole of the breast is not as full as one would expect if an implant were used. This is typically the case when a breast lift is performed without an accompanying implant. Nonetheless, this patient remains very pleased and satisfied that her options and fit of clothing are dramatically enhanced. Procedures performed: Breast Lift

Patient 3. This patient is a 44-year-old, 112 pound, 5'1" woman. The patient was interested in a breast lift and a modest enhancement of her breasts hoping to achieve a more full-looking breast with correction of inverted nipples. A bilateral sub-muscular breast augmentation with mastoplexy and correction of inverted nipples was performed. A 225 cc Mentor, smooth, round moderate plus implant was used. Patient 5. This patient is a 44-year-old, 125 lb., 5'5" female who was interested in breast surgery. She wished to be no larger than her current 34 C/D cup bra but was interested in a better-shaped breast. She wanted to make her areola complex smaller and correct the sagging appearance of her breasts. A bilateral Wise pattern mastopexy was performed. Photos at one year. Patient 6. This patient is a 38-year-old, 125 pound, 5'4" female who has been a D cup but felt her breasts were a C cup and wanted them to return to her full D cup status with a better shape to the breasts as well. During the breast lift procedure, a Wise pattern mastopexy was performed using a 175 cc smooth, round, moderate profile Mentor silicone implant. Photos at six months.
