This patient is a 39-year-old, 115 pound, 5'2" female who had undergone bilateral prophylactic mastectomy due to the fact she was BRCA-1+ and having a very strong family history of breast cancer. The procedure was a two staged breast reconstruction with initial bilateral nipple, areola, and skin-sparing mastectomy with insertion of tissue expanders.
