Traveling worldwide with Operation Smile, Dr. Olson has been able to make a difference in the lives of many young patients with congenital deformities and burns, restoring their self esteem. Dr. Olson approaches cosmetic surgery with the same core philosophy as he does reconstructive surgery, which is to provide balance and harmony to facial and body contours with the least invasive procedures to achieve each patient's goals.

Dr. Olson completed extensive training in plastic surgery at the Mayo Clinic Graduate School of Medicine, after completing general surgery training at Harvard's Peter Bent Brigham Hospital & Children's Hospital Medical Center in Boston. Dr. Olson has two board certifications from the American Board of Plastic Surgery and the American Board of Surgery. He is a Clinical Associate Professor of Surgery and Biomedical Engineering at UMDNJ-Robert Wood Johnson Medical School and a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons.
